Guest Speaker/Emcee

Punch up the excitement at your next meeting or event with a speaker from NorthSound 1380! NorthSound 1380 personalities regularly attend local events as emcees, featured speakers, or as special guests. Our staff is often prepared to speak with short notice on a wide range of topics - after all, we're in the communications business! A few topic ideas and speakers are listed below. The only requirements are that the event must be within the boundaries of our signal, that your group is larger than 15 adults, and that you publicize our visit in your regular communications. Here's the list:

Jeff Aaron - Local celebrity and host of 3-6 with the Fish on NorthSound 1380, on-ice intermission host at Silvertips games, and sports fanatic, "The Fish" can give a season preview on your favorite sports team, provide his unique perspective on talk radio and sports talk radio, or entertain your crowd as an evening emcee. Sometimes there is a fee for emcee duties or appearances. However, speaking to local service clubs is free. Jeff is the former sports director of KIRO 710 AM in Seattle and the former morning show host on KJR 950 AM in Seattle. He's an avid golfer, and he's pretty good on the drums, too.

Tom Lafferty - Since 1982, Tom has been the "voice" of prep sports in the NorthSound. If Tom's voice isn't familiar to you from the radio, you've probably heard him serve as stadium announcer at the Everett Aquasox games. Tom often emcees many local charitable events and is someone you can count on as a consummate professional. Tom is a native of Snohomish and a Snohomish Panther. Oh, and by the way, not too many people know that Tom has a mobile disc jockey business and loves to host weddings - he charges for those, though!

Andy Skotdal - Affectionately referred to as "Sweatshop Andy" by the Fish, Andy is the station GM (General Mangler), and a rare breed in radio today - a local radio station owner. Andy also serves as Chairman of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters and is a proud Everett Seagull.
